About School of Robots

What we do
An academy that ships the laboratory. Hardware kits posted at each stage, progressing from motors and sensors through microcontrollers, motor control, sensing and closed-loop control to autonomous behaviour, with live small-group instruction from engineers rather than recorded video. Projects are genuinely engineering rather than assembly: design, build, measure, fail, diagnose, improve. Competition preparation for the major robotics competitions, including team formation for students with no local team, which is the specific thing that unlocks opportunity for isolated learners.
Who we built it for
Teenagers aged 12 to 17 with genuine engineering interest, and their parents. Also competition teams and homeschool families needing structured technical instruction.
The problem
Serious robotics education requires hardware, and online courses either teach simulation, which does not translate, or assume a school laboratory the learner does not have.
Competition teams exist only in well-funded schools.
A motivated teenager without a local programme has no path from interest to competence, and general online coding courses do not touch mechanical or electrical work.
